Since then I have been staying in Austria amongst the Austrian Alps at RedBull’s training centre where the doctor’s, physiotherapist’s and personal trainers have been cracking there whips and getting me back to health as fast as possible.I had a rod put in my tibia (the shin bone) and had my fibula plated (the other bone in the leg between the knee and ankle) so after having my leg bolted back together it takes a lot of work to make it function correctly again, but that work is nearly all done and I should be back on my CR-250 in a few more weeks.
Last month I went to Spain to commentate for the live TV feed that was viewed by over 67million people, for the final round of RedBull X-fighters. After commentating Travis Pastrana to his final FMX win I flew back to Los Angeles for X-Games where I was meant to commentate but the flu caught me off guard so I sat back and watched all the action unfold.
Right now I’m putting my bike back together as I hope to ride it as soon as possible. I hope all you guys and girls are having fun on your dirt bikes! I’m jealous of you all. Stay safe and I will talk soon,
Robbie. |
